Hi Rob, I'm not sure what you mean by "the receipt of this straw bale house". Please clarify. I'm happy to share with you our thoughts on how to build a good straw bale house. If you're talking about cost of building please know that straw bale is kind of expensive because it eats up allot of stucco on the outside and plaster on the inside. It also makes a nice, thick wall which adds to the building footprint size and makes it a bit more expensive. It needs to be well sealed and we use a stucco gun with good pressure to embed the stucco into the straw bale. We also recommend that you use a pitched roof with straw bale and make sure you keep it completely dry during construction.
Good luck with your project and good to hear from you.
