Outside porch
Comments (7)Just remove it altogether. It doesn't look like the main entrance (is it a laundry?) so it doesn't need to look stunning. Hundreds of houses around without porches or covering. It's being sold so let the new owner add something. What you add may not be their choice either. If this is the main entrance then possibly spent the money needed for a nice porch area including a new footpath. It currently looks like a side entry though....See MoreAny suggestions for wall coverings
Comments (5)You could use MDF panelling resembling tonge and groove for three quarters of the height adding a picture rail on top. However this may mean removing skirting and architraves or there may be enough room to butt up to them. This could be painted then you only have to be concerned with a small area at the top....See MoreTriple fronted 70's house needs a porch cover.
Comments (5)nothing wrong with cream gutters as long as they don't leak but consider a stained timber pergola to match the decking and, unless you want to leave furniture on the deck and sit out there undercover you need relatively small sections of sheeting that only shelter the front door and lets light through but doesn't overheat and cook the heads of someone waiting at the door!..one of the light coloured Polycarbonates like Lazerlite Suntuf comes in 2-3m length and two sheets will cover a section about 1.5m wide but check the flatter profiles like Greca (not shaped liked corrugated iron) as it can be laid much flatter and still shed water away from the house and you can check samples and colours at the major hardware stores...See MoreTiles for outdoor under cover porch
