Hi, we are trying to renovate our bathroom with a tight budget. does anyone know anything about tile re-enamelling? does it last long and what are the cost involved? many thanks!!
Are they floor or wall tiles that you're looking at re-enamelling? If you're looking to do the floor tiles, you're better off renovating.
Wall tiles are a bit different. It can last for a few years depending on who you get the enamelling stuff from, but I'm not too sure about the costs. Sorry!
I would be hesitant to resurface or paint over tiles, even wall tiles. It may look good at first but from our experience, it doesn't last. I would keep saving and have the bathroom retiled properly.
