The grey wall colour! This colour pallette from the deepest to the lightest has been on trend for a while now ... and it doesn't seem to matter what room of the house: it is becoming rather ho hum!! No proportion, balance, harmony with the elements in the room. Is this room a backpackers shared TV room?

I am not that far from Ingleburn. I will go and have a look but I am interested to hear their reputation since I had never heard of them and I am worried that the doors may later warp if they haven't been dried properly. In the mean time I have found and Australian manufacturer at Mittagong I'm going check out. I don't really have the option of only buying one door since my builder has suddenly become available due to another job not being ready. Ive already waited 6 months for him ( I know he's a good builder so i was happy to wait).

A lot of building materials are regulated as far as safety and flammability. If you purchase products that do not meet Australian Standards you may get caught out with a building inspection and be required to replace the items that don't comply. For instance there is an Australian Standard for the type of glass used in glass doors, and windows adjacent to glass doors. Foreign manufacturers may not comply, or label their complying products incorrectly. Another example is the flammable cladding used on many apartment buildings - often this has been imported to save money, but doesn't comply, and will need to be replaced at huge expense. With possible long lead times on many imported products, lack of local service and support, and lack of Australian warranties you are taking on a lot of potential risk, while you could be supporting local industry.
