All Shutters and Blinds (Adelaide)

Over promised & extremely under delivered product, workmanship and most of all service & customer care If you are after a company that are professional and give you the workmanship and quality of product that they promise you then this is not the company for you. We paid our 50% deposit in March and now that it is almost November we are yet to have the work completed and the work and quality of product that has been completed is substandard at best. We were told in March it would be 9 weeks from order to completion and here we are over 7 months later. We picked this company even though we had a quote that was $1000 cheaper in part because we were persuaded by the salesperson that you get what you pay for and were told that their product, workmanship and service were second to none. This could not be further from the truth. There has been problems from day one and there seems to be no one that takes responsibility. Below are a few excerpts from the last email I sent on 19/9/2019, an email that I have not received to reply to. There has not been one person in that whole company that has emailed, messaged, phoned. It now over 6 months since we paid our deposit and almost 4 months since it should have been finished. Apart from the delays and stress of the whole sorry saga, the job is always going to be a comprise and patch up. Suffice to say that the remedy for most of the issues is a patch up job, or have just been ignored. Most of the cracked gyprock has now been covered by strips of wood (we have been waiting for about 6 weeks for this to be finished). There are still scratches on flooring but we decided to just accept this. All the mitre joints are exactly the same as they were, the chips and gouges have been touched up with some paint so are now paint covered chips and gouges. (I attached photos of the problems with my last email and if you wish me to send them again let me know and I will do so). We would also like to know if you have an actual Adelaide branch. Whether you have someone here that overseas all local orders. Someone who oversees the jobs that you process. Someone who follows a job from the beginning to end to ensure that it runs smoothly, who can ensure that it is actually your company that are sending emails and chasing things up instead of the client. Someone who is a manager, who is a quality controller and who can check jobs when there is an issue. If so we would like them to contact us. In the last 6 months we have not received one phone call or email (except for those demanding payment) unless it is in response to correspondence from us. Not one person has contacted us to find our if the job has been finished, if we are happy how things are going, if there is anything that you could do to help have this resolved. I would say we have put more man hours into having this job completed than your company have. We assumed we would pay a deposit, you would come out 9 weeks later and give us what you promised us and we would pay the rest of the money. Our input would have been the transferring of money and being available for 1 day to have the blinds installed. We did not envision it turning into almost a full time endeavor. As I said above all we want is to have the shutters and outcome we were promised. No more no less but it is obviously not an outcome that All Shutters and Blinds are willing to work towards.

Made a ph call to company and requested a quote. Shane Anderson salesman arrived at appointment time, was polite, unhurried, explained everything and all products available, was not pushy and a pleasure to do business with. Measurements taken and later confirmed by eventual installer. 50% Deposit made at time of signing contract and emailed invoice showing total amount and deposit received within minutes. Bookings made by company re installation which happened on the time organised and day allotted and final payment made immediately after installation. We could not be happier with service, product and when asked if installation could include sealant at top of hood nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this company and employees to everyone.

Very happy with the time taken to quote the job and description of the product and instillation. Shutters are high quality. Would have liked some paper work regarding the product that gave warranty and how to care for shutters. Did email company but did not receive a reply.

Our salesman Greg was very professional, very helpful and knew his stuff. The shutters arrived on time and installed by Geoff who showed his expertise with an excellent job. Your company beat three others with the quote and the final job exceeded expectations.
