Which layout for the master bedroom would your prefer?
Comments (8)I can't see the images but separate bathrooms would be my preference. A simply larger ensuite is fine but you still have to fill the room with stuff. When my wife and I first lived together it was a two bedroom, 2.5 bath. The closets were small so I just took the 2nd bedroom and also made the ajoining bathroom, mine. It was the best. No staggering of waking up to take turns, and we all poop! But at least it's not in each others face. Over the years, function over style will win hands down. I don't know the size of your closet(s) but expanding that (even a his and hers) would also go along way. The alfresco could be nice but only if you have great weather year-round. If you have a porch / deck / etc, then there's no need. You still need to go to the kitchen to get your coffee / wine / drink. It's not practical....See MoreWhich is your favourite kitchen from The Block?
Comments (16)To be honest I wasn't blown away by any of them this time around. I think this series has been quite disappointing, not a patch on the last two. Comments (19)Hi Stephen Irby, urgent question for an old thread. I've been looking at the Oliveri sonetto single bowl with left hand drainer (1.2mm 18/10 304 grade) as I want a quality sink big enough for bakeware and large pots. I have existing cabinet constraints (600mm) for the bowl, and want to also install an inline filter to replace the puratap. Will this fit in with it? The cabinets are 600mm deep. Also Oliveri have been getting rather a bad rap in reviews regarding scratching, difficulty cleaning and even rust! Is the sonetto range made in Australia?...See MoreWhite fridge or stainless steel?
Comments (41)Hmm. Folks I don't understand what is going on with these recent comments. The fridge dilemma was settled ages ago and I advised that I had settled on a stainless-steel fridge that worked well in my white kitchen. Just as an update, I had some problems with said fridge, calling for service several times and the fridge having to go back to the factory. Very unsatisfactory and inconvenient. They provided a loan fridge but as everyone knows, emptying and stocking fridges is not the most enjoyable pass time. After some discussions with F & P they were persuaded to replace the dud fridge with another similar fridge, although with the concealed handles. (Not my preference). I had to pay a small amount, but it came with a new fridge warranty. So dear people, I will close this conversation and give thanks to everyone for the input.
