Another lounge or occasional chairs?
Comments (2)If you get elderly visitors, chairs with arms that aren't too squishy and low, are much appreciated....See MoreLounge room ideas please??
Comments (4)I would go light on the walls - something like the Hogsbreath or a very pale beige. You have a combination of rustic and modern - so maybe some wrought iron based lamps with interesting shades, Colors for cushions - use a couple of beige ones for a base and then maybe greens and blues with some interesting textures and patterns. I like a couple of chairs as even with 3 seater couches which I have 2 - 2 people usually just sit on it. So maybe 2.5 seater and chairs. Art work as you have a big area choose something big in size - or do your own canvas from a favourited photo or get the brushes out and go abstract. Hope that helps....See MoreSuggestions for lounge room revamp
Comments (50)ok hubby tucked in bed now. where was i? this is gonna sound crazy, but i read this once and adored, just have not gotten enough jeans yet. a woven jeans rug! but not the old timey wrap in a circle type. This is like those pot holders we used to make on a loom...you know you go over and under, I can only find the pic on pinterest, and they won't let me download. I also like recycled leather like belts, maybe you could them as an edging. I would make my rug square I think. i am also constantly trying to come up with ideas for old ties. You get them cheap enough and they can be so cool. but you have to mix them with something?...See MoreWhat to do with the 'Dining' part of the LShape 'Lounge Dining' please
Comments (7)Your home looks lovely. Ideas that come to mind for your 'dining' room include a sewing room, craft room, reading nook or children's playroom with a day bed but any of those ideas will only work if you have use for them. I know you have said you don't want another sitting room but my instinct would be a pair of wicker chairs, a jute mat, a small side table and some indoor greenery - essentially making a summer sitting room/reading room. With regards to your coffee table, perhaps include some texture. Either a mat under the bowl or fill the bowl with brush balls or something similar. Otherwise it appears to work well with your other furnishings and style....See MoreHilda Tingle
