Need help with splash back tiles or glass and what colour??

This is a picture of my kitchen, I am still to pick the splash back, cupboards up top are same colour black wenge laminate, counter tops are white. I was thinking cherry glass splash back, but think that is too bold and will date? Maybe white/black marble hex tiles?? I cant decide!!

Hex tiles - great idea! And that is a stunning kitchen. Seriously suave. I'd go with that colour, even if it does date.

Hi, have you considered smokey mirror? We did a full home build recently with the kitchen and bar both with smokey mirror splash backs. Looks great and gives lots of wow factor. Cleaning isn't so bad either. More pics on our projects page if you're interested. Good luck! Creative Home Plus

Hi Sue, I think it would look amazing if you used some tiles with a bit of texture. The wood look tiles that are popular at the moment would be an example. If you chose a colour that toned in with your floor you would get a really nice cohesive look but with a bit of interest. I've attached a photo of a recent design of mine as an example. Just a suggestion!

Hi Hu, I love the window in your kitchen, if you go white subway tiles a stack pattern would add a contemporary look and white grout would give a clean and stylish look and blend beautifully with any decor items you add.

Hi there we went with a glass splashback in Haynes Minimalist #1. I can DM photo if you like? Learning for me is that the colour sample tile does not take into account a finished room, flooring, lighting, natural light etc. as glass is so reflective. I found it very difficult to find a glass colour that suited both the stone and cabinet. Cheers

I think cherry glass would cheapen it. Have you considered a mirror glass, don't know if I would like to maintain it but others here swear by it. Tiles like Earp Bros suggested look good. I also like the glass mosaics but they might be a bit blingy for your room. I went back to laminate for my new kitchen and I really don't think you can beat it - it just looks so clean and uncluttered, and better still, it doesn't break the bank. Congratulations on a beautiful job.

Did you style the kitchen just for us? I think cherry glass would date very quickly. Th exiles suggested show some good options.

I would go with a strong colour glass splash back. It will look great. More black/white/silver - yawn....too boring.
