Cheapest thing to do would be to paint the doors put a bit of timber benchtop from Bunnings and perhaps mirror the back panel, but where's the Bar Fridge going or are you planning a bigger fridge nest to this. As Louie suggested it might be better to get rid of the old as there's no place for a much needed Bar Fridge, A Barn door of whatever style suits you would work well, you can pick up second hand doors with character for this. Then again some Bunnings timber benchtop , (Mel) fitted & supported by beams screwed into the rear and sides of the nook and hidden by a strip across the front as your bench top. With a bar fridge under this, floating shelves above on the wall for bottles /glasses and DVD player etc, much easier to use the DVD when it's not in a cupboard love the room.

Hi Linda You'll have to weigh up the cost of painting the doors or completely new fronts as with existing you are stuck with design feature. (Unsure whether you can turns cupboards inside out.. after painting and patching?). Love the idea of white door with frosted glass - slider would be better but that's getting structural. I would get rid of the cream so replace splashback with new fresh tiles, glass etc If go with a paint spruce up, paint all the cabinetry white EXCEPT the built in unit with the fridge, oven and shelves in it, paint that dark like your beams in the living space. Some nice pops of colour accessories on the shelves would look funky. It will be a feature. Lighting pendant as mentioned would be white with dark feature. If you decide everything white, then black pendants. If you paint the back wall cabinetry white you could also put some wallpaper at the back of the shelving for fun. Paint existing walls in kitchen area white as well (the living area looks white?). Best of luck. Please post end result.

You must be male. When you go to the hairdresser (insert other grooming places) they wash and spend an hour or so taming your hair into Submission. Then you get to feel this lovely soft hair and they convince you to buy their overpriced shampoo. You gleefully bring it home and try it out, surprised when you don’t get the same result from you 10minute hair dry as they did after an hour or so. Come try this they lure. You are in need of pampering and yes your hands feel dry, don’t they every afternoon! They lather you up and gee it feels awesome. The little massage they slip in with it gets you hooked. Another product same outcome. You’ve spent good money so don’t want to ditch it. Then there are the friends and family. They see these products in your bathroom and see you enjoy the finer things and happily store it away as future present knowledge. And on it goes, pick a body part...
