I would leave the render colour and just tile a trim around the base in a pattern and over the arch of the brick. But I also recalled the pizza oven at a pizza place where I grew up. They make great pizza, but the oven is so cool! You could do something like this!

i suggest that most of the time that the slide and hide option will mostly be used for cleaning?? we have built in microwave above and main oven below because we decided that the biggest and heaviest dishes would go in the lower oven and that would be safer to manage when lifting in and out...the microwave is at eye level and the bottom of the main oven is about 40cm off the floor allowing for a deep saucepan drawer underneath and cabinets with vertical dividers above the microwave for cake coolers, pizza pans and biscuit baking trays etc we're very happy with our choice

If you are doing a Hamptosn style renovation then I would be consistant, and play up the symmetry, such as in this photo. You really want the pool and outlook to be the focal point, and not your splashback. I would go with a mirrored splashback to brick more light into your space and provide a better connection with your pool, rather than making the splashback a feature element. One option could be to plant some magnolia trees in pots along the corner fence line to hide the traffic light, or place a feature Tree in the corner with other hedge type planting alongside. The furniture placement will also be key. For example, could you put the outdoor kitchen where the lounge is, the lounge where the ping pong table is, and the ping pong table on the deck? Along the rendered wall out from the deck you could put the bar? Good luck, an exciting project!
