Hi there, having recently been through a similar decision process for our Reno I can really recommend ordering the Dulux A4 samples. They are made with the real paint on them so you can move them around from room to room to see exactly what it will look like without having a heap of swatches painted on the wall. They have a sticker backing but I used blu-tac so 8 could move them over and over. Good luck

there isn't enough space for any complex arrangements and a simple neat small bathroom and separate laundry will be so much easier to use if you make sure that all the fixtures are sized to suit ie 90cm wide vanities for bath and ensuite with in wall mirror doored wall cabinets will enhance the feeling of spaciousness and hinged doors are great for extra towel rails and coat hooks as sliding doors would need need thicker walls, restrict attachment of towel rails and interrupt electrical wiring and plumbing and how low is the bulk head??? shower should fit OK as long as the bulk head is no lower than door height and even a bathtub with handheld shower is still better than a shared bathroom laundry open to the back door...best of luck

Actually....I have one more white paint question everyone if you don’t mind! We will be using terrazzo tiles in the bathroom (off white base with Carrara marble chips) and white textured subway tiles. I had planned to paint the remaining sections of wall white too but now I’m on this white paint odyssey I’m wondering if it’s going to work or if I’d be better to go with a contrasting colour instead. If I do paint with white, should I match it back with the wall tiles? The closest colour is lexicon which is obviously pretty cold/blue - the room has a large east facing skylight but I’m concerned about it feeling a bit sterile...appreciate your thoughts! Having had 4 x 2 bedroom holiday Villas I would suggest that one bath for two couples to share doesn't work.. When booking the 2 bedder for one couple we always locked off the other bedroom as people will still use it for bags etc or just another bed and expect not to pay for the extra bedroom and Bathroom which always needs to be serviced So a bath in each bedroom with a view, plus a TV for separation and not having to watch FOOTBALL. The deck space can be better used within the Chalet by having a narrow railing glass Juliet style across the large opening doors. We found that everyone loved sitting at the island, the coffee table can be extendable to become a dining table when needed. If you do add a deck one table services both spaces.
