Hello friends, I agree she's too little for bunks. I am also not amoured with making a bed half-way up a wall. There are some nice examples out there (particularly like example three, thank you for that) but what I don't want is something that is a few centimetres too small for the space. Our home is an uber modern renovation and I'm keen to make sure that whatever we do compliments this which is why I'm thinking I need to get something custom built for the space. Problem is there's heaps of candy out there but who in Sydney can help me out? Looking for a couple of designers to spit-ball concepts and a couple of crafts-folks to show us how they'd do it. Forget about any designing in the room until you have the clutter under control. We can't even see the room to give design help! If you start thinking about design now you may be tempted to buy extra stuff - and you certainly don't need extra now. Get storage boxes/baskets and store similar things together and don't be scared to throw out anything you haven't used for 6 months! It's a fantastic feeling to get mess under control and well worth the effort!! When you have done that take another pic and tell us what you want to achieve design wise.

A really lovely gallery wall - go for all black and white prints and use mostly black frames in different shapes/dimensions/thicknesses, and throw in the odd gold or brass frame here and there. Find prints you like or phrases that are meaningful online, in-store, vintage/2nd hand stores, ripped from magazines. Play with scale too - have some very small images in the middle of a large frame.
