Wall art for lounge room, help pls
Comments (8)I would suggest hanging a large moroccan woven fabric or mat, just use a length of dowel along the top edge, and hang it up. It would add great texture and also a casual feel to the room. Dress up the couch with a bunch of patterned cushions and a bolster moroccan style. A silky fabric sun filter curtain would finish off the look. https://nz.pinterest.com/pin/299911656409300053/ https://nz.pinterest.com/pin/405675878916401870/ https://nz.pinterest.com/pin/431219733049382426/...See MorePlease help me jazz up my lounge/dining, im so bad at this!
Comments (19)Hi Zoe, what a lovely space, great neutral floor and curtains, your lounge and dining set perfect, I think you do know what you like just look at the photos you have posted, the only thing missing in your space are the personal bits and pieces. Take all of the above photos with you to Kmart and use them as a reference to purchase, good thing is you can change them if you feel it doesn't work. Your room really needs lights/ lamps, are you able to fit a hanging lamp above the table, what type of ceiling lights does the apartment have The other big thing is the entertainment wall needs bulking up, you need something taller and wider this can be made up with a couple TV height(Taller) cabinets on either side of the current TV, the speaker system needs a home and arranging, Kmart is bound to have something, or check out Salvo's etc they often have those old Pine timber entertainment units that old TV's sat into. With a light sand, white wash and a sealing coat they come up a treat Love your rug but it's a bit small, in the meantime I think I would line up against the lounge so it's not lost. Good advice Nelson Interiors, love Kmart and Bunnings to help with stretching the budget, Zoe don't over look Buniings for furnishing your room, work benches etc also make great TV stands and side boards, they also have a large lighting section cheers...See MoreIncomplete lounge room- please help!
Comments (23)Hi to everyone who replied with some really helpful suggestions. I have finally completed my lounge room and feel so happy and relieved! Please have a look at my after photos and let me know what you think. I rearranged and used what I already had at home so there was no extra cost (except for one cushion I bought). Thanks again!...See MoreSmall lounge room dilema, please help!
Comments (5)Thanks oklouise. we also need to heat these areas in winter as the front is south facing and it's freezing down there.. This was designed by an architect and the French doors - we liked the idea - making this room appear bigger and more light coming through. No original plan, we have the previous plan of the upstairs addition and it shows these rooms downstairs as they are. have included pics of the foyer, I know it's such a waste of space, but now we are used to it....See More- 9 years ago
