Outstanding!!! Wish I had the money to do such a makeover on my mother's home before sale but it will get a paint and that's about it. I will however, put a heap of work in on the garden to give the house that wow if I can, when prospective buyers approach.

Oh wow! Jealous! Paint Dark charcoal grey or black like balustrades on neighbours balconies! Depending on what direction facing for light and heat either 1. Combination of brick in and make a beautiful feature wooden door and windows for light, internal mezzanine bedroom and open plan living downstairs. 2. If cash not problem make up a black steel framed window, door entrance, very chic, industrial and on trend.

Very nicely done. It went from a bit depressing w/o furniture in living room, and had an unlived-in look missing appliances, etc., to gorgeous, bright and inviting. Great job.

You won't believe this but it is true, I bought a house when I attended a garage sale. The owner of the house I bought was helping her friend with her garage sale as they were leaving the area, she said she wanted to sell up and move with them, we got chatting and she took me to her house that she wanted to sell. It was fantastic, on one third of an acre with a rural outlook, in need of a bit of work, I agreed to her price straight away, I got it for a great price and no real estate agents were involved and I love it. Wasn't really planning on buying a house but the opportunity presented itself and was too good to pass up, my family still tease me about my love of garage sales and my ultimate purchase!!
