Framing is an art unto itself. Vincent Van Gogh's wealthy brother was a framer. I suggest, just as with any design choice, you talk to friends and relatives to get hooked up with a local pro. They will help and guide you toward a frame that compliments and enhances the art while working with your personal style. I typically pay three to four times as much for framing than I did for the art it surrounds...my framer is also an artist and I have commissioned a few of her pieces, the most recent a collaboration on a collage. Only you can tell if it's too close - have you sat on the toilet and used the paper? Is it just that you are used to a different position, or is it really awkward to try and get the paper when you're sitting on the loo? If the position of the holder is wrong and not just unfamiliar, you'll need to talk to your builder or tiler and see what can be done about getting it moved. Life is too short to be thinking angry thoughts every single time you (and your family and your guests) need to go! (especially since the "little room" is sometimes where we mums go to hide from our kids for a few minutes!)

I'm the culprit! A jacket over this chair, my bag on the kitchen bench... My (constantly complaining) mother tends to round up my misc items every few days and dumps in my room - her tactful way of telling me to clean up.

Hi @Macyjean, it’s always those impracticalities like one thing being in front or on top of another that drive us mad. Most of the time we only have one hand free to grab an object and it’s ridiculously frustrating to have to move a towel to get to the t.paper. I think every photo on social media has to be used as inspiration only, and through the lens of”how would my things and lifestyle actually fit and work here” . Most people, most days can barely get through the laundry list let alone when it’s raining, , your family have come down with a virus and the new puppy hasn’t yet finished toilet training. These are the real days of our lives where we need to just reach the toilet paper, and everything else without hassle. Re the luggage, it’s the same for anything that needs storing- the things you use most need to be closest to you and where they are used. The things less used in the less valuable spaces. Unless you have acres of storage(which actually has you walking miles from one end of the home to another, following a hierachy such as this is the way most people have to live . This can be greatly enhanced though with a lot of thought going into how and where you do activities, what your physical capabilities and limits are and then designing ergonomically to those parameters.
