Though I don't know for certain, I think the cotton/linen shades are removable. I wasn't able to determine this by my searches. This could easily be confirmed by making an enquiry to supplier before purchase. Alternatively, a handmade one could be made removable by making shade slightly larger than frame and making ties.

This floor plan has a single garage, with bedrooms grouped together at the front of the house, the Music Room has been moved to the rear away from the bedrooms as it would make too much noise for those sleeping. It can now be opened up to the family kitchen dining, courtyard and Alfresco and can be used as a play room(/ guest room) giving children great indoor out door play area in view of parents. There's a study with a similar view. A powder room closer to the rear of the house for easy access, The main bathroom is done Japanese style. The master suite has the WIR between the bed and the ensuite, no noise etc when in use to disturb anyone. I have made the passage way extra wide and more like a room which has a linen cupboard, you could certainly make this narrower and add to the bedrooms if you wished, This comes to 204.5 sq m. cheers

Hi siriuskey, I agree the bathroom is too far away from the living areas. People will have to trek to the other end of the house past bedrooms to get to the bathroom. I'll think I'll move it back. The high set windows for bathroom privacy shows that it is possible to have a bathroom at the front of the house no problems. Also, the living room space with open walls is just a way to create 2 spaces in the combined area. If you want you can create a more private room by closing the sliders. Just thinking about resale and having more options e.g. one watching tv and the other in the family area. Do you think it would be better being one larger space at 11.3 metres long by 5m wide? There’s no nail holes so it’s a floating floor of some type. Impossible to tell if it’s engineered wood or bamboo or vinyl. Take the picture to your local flooring shop and they’ll be able to show you something similar.
