I have the same piece as wheaty, but in dark wood. Pier One on sale! Love it. I use the hooks for hats, purses, jackets, etc., baskets below for gloves and scarves. Never thought of putting a pillow on it. I like it. Warm and cosy.

Lordy no. My grandmother didn't either but she would place them under the lounge cushions and sit on them. Just as good. For the record I don't do this kind of lounge ironing. If something needs ironing, it isn't being purchased in the first place. Just fold it directly from the line!

I found that a few basic towel rails mounted on the back of my wardrobe door works for me :D heels can hang on the rails, or i slot the toe of the shoes in behind the rail. If you've got a spare wall, mounting them on a wall would be even better.... and ballet flats in labelled boxes: 'Dark Coloured Flats' (navy, black) and 'Coloured Flats' (all the other colours ;) ) .....if you need inspo, just search 'shoe storage' on Pinterest. oklouise, I have an open side cabinet which will go beside the vanity where I will store rolled up towels. So now it's to decide whether something free standing or on the wall to hang wet towels. As mentioned in my previous comment, I'm worried about my son climbing those bamboo ladders. Plus do towels dry ok with those from your experience? You obviously need to fold your towels for them to fit on the ladder so I'm wondering how effective are they? Thanks again.
