Hi I have a flat roof that was architecturally designed for the house. The internal guttering sits on the walls and now that it is leaking (rusted). I have learned that the whole design was not a great one. To repair the whole roof has to be replaced. I would prefer to put a pitch on the roof and have the guttering on the outside. I feel it only needs a slight pitch I have been given concepts but am not in favour of the expense. I have included photos. To renovate the inside of my house I need to start with making sure the roof does not leak (seal it) etc. Photos atttached. Would love anyones ideas. I would like to pitch the flat roof to the surrounding pitch and remove the bottom tiles to put in the guttering so that it still keeps its architectural design. The guttering is down the sides of the house. I would like to keep the tiles and attach new guttering to the old spouting.
