I think the paint colours for remaining walls as suggested above Royal Beige, White Duck & Hog Bristle are all great, but in Quarter strength, not full would be too dark (White Duck Quarter being my perso pref)... as for the windows, if you're game enough, then I would suggest black, not only will it pick up the black from the fire place but it will also frame the view, almost like a picture... if black's not for you then if they're timber I would consider stripping them back to a natural finish

Why not a round flat top large ottoman, to soften the overall look. The brown modular lounge is quite heavy and rather angular (still nice though!). You could select a soft pattern fabric, perhaps like this: Then some large feather filled scatter cushions for the sofa in the same pattern + some complementary prints. Hi there. How lucky are you to be able to redo an area for yourself. The floors are great as that will bring a real modern feel to the house. Make sure you keep it light and bright as you said the home is small and small homes can look very tiny with large furniture and dark colours. The blue sofa will be a striking and very comfy addition to the room. West elm is great with rugs as is pottery barn but west end is a little modern (they are owned by the same place). Try to add white side tables with striking blue decor to make the sofa pop more. If budget allows i would change the table to a gorgeous light wood. Add some amazing cushions to add the homely feel best of luck

Hi there, your room looks lovely and has quite a formal feel. I think a rust or pinky/terracotta in solid colours square 50 x 50 cm (ish) would work in both couch and chairs and tie the scheme together. Velvet or linen would be beautiful and you could keep these as your neutrals. You could then add a rectangular one or two with a grey/rust or teal/rust print, or with one of these colours as piping. These can be swapped out later for a change eg a yellow based print would work against sofa and chairs. Using down fill will always make them look nicer than poly fill. Cushions can be expensive, If you see some you in the neutral colours that you love it is worth spending the money because you will have them for years - some of mine are ten years old. Most places will let you take them home and return them so you can try them out. I then go to fabric stores and look for prints I love and have the accent pieces made up by a local dressmaker for a fraction of the price and something unique to our home. I have mainly velvets and knits for winter then swap them out for linens and cottons for summer. Good luck I am sure your new cushions will add to your already beautiful room.
