Personally I would always go for a consistent style throughout the house if at all possible. Expensive if you have to make a lot of changes to achieve it. I guess it comes down to how much it bothers you.

Gold brass handles can be timeless. The gold colour will definitely liven up the white cabinets. For the luna shape, it depends on the style and design of your laundry cabinetry and other parts of the home. It will look great if you have similar elements across your home.

Hi F2468 If you want an exact match then I suggest that you purchase the style of handles you want and then ask your Kitchen Manufacturer to spray these with Two Pack while they are also painting your cabinetry. The curved handles are more comfortable than the super modern straight ones, which I'd say don't necessarily suit an older home visually anyway. Are there any other black fittings and fixtures? Anything to match the bold modernity of black handles? If it's only the door handles they could stand out as a replacement not in a good way. Really need to see more to advise.
