Since you do not have much money you will need to do some DIY. Moving the toilet, sink and washer is out of the question. Remove the shelf and make a hamper/ bookshelf for storage. Would be nice if you had doors at the top to hide everything. Should be only 16 inches at the bottom and top half should be 12 inches deep. Clean up the wall with the outlets, using tape and drywall mud were the crack with the two pieces of wood is. The window I would frame two pieces of plexiglass with a semi-transparent design and mount it on the window ledge like sliding closet doors. Between the sink and toilet same plexi but all the way to the ceiling. Hopefully out of 2x2 if there is enough room. For the sink I would make a wood cover with cut out for the faucet to get a little counter space when not using the sink. Also paint one wall a different color for effect. Take the towel off the washer and add some shelving.

There is a conCrete veneer system called xbond which given the right substrate, being a fc board, the layer is as minimal as 6mm. Can be laid over existing tile or cement, and as mentioned on a stumped house. Look up Xbond

Hi, I believe the ideas you have initially are often not those you would do further down the track. Everything looks pretty good so allow time for you to consider your ideas- this also extends the enjoyment of a new place and gives you a good reason to shop! -Your kitchen - new handles and an updated tap- would make huge difference. If you are going to do up the kitchen I would wait .Try some bright accessories - kettle etc of a favourite accent colour that I would carry through in some artwork, cushions, rugs etc in the rest of the living areas. It is a bit hard to advise without seeing your furniture as to colour and shape and your preferred style. Have a good browse on HOUZZ for some ideas. While you have the floor tiles you will be a bit restricted on what tone to use to freshen up the walls but i think you need to get some swatches to match your tiles. If the paint work is good you could just leave it and go with a feature wall of a richer colour if there is a suitable wall. This way you would have a wider range of colours to tone with new flooring when you can afford it and wouldn't waste time painting then re doing it again soon after. I would go with either timber or laminate or timber look vinyl planking. With such a big space It is important to create zones by careful placement of your furniture. Large areas of tiles can be clinical so think of applying some texture with rugs, cushions, throws and art on the walls and once you have figured out your preferred style there may be some spaces to apply wall paper. if the budget allows for it, porcelain tiles are my recommendation. They look better, have smaller grout lines, can get them to look like any modern stone, like marble, granite, travertine or even available in wood look slats. My hot tip is the less grout the better, which means the smaller the tile the more grout lines, stay away from mosaic on the floor, I've seen too often these being ripped out because the grout dates and ages from soap scum etc. After seeing grey, black and various colours on floors, I would always go with white on the floor, easy to keep clean and no fading of the tile profile.
