Hey Camira1999, your pool area has huge potential. We love the wooden element you've added to your outdoor area. You could also add in some more foliage to the area, like we did in the projects below. Lacquering the back fence will also make a difference to the feel of the pool area. We also are manufacturers of DIY glass pool fences, balustrades, mirrors and splashbacks - you can pick up fences in a range of styles (ie: semi frameless, frameless with or without mini posts,etc) from your local Bunnings. Hi Amy, Isn't it great! You can paint pebblecrete but my first thought is don't touch it. If you haven't already, pressure clean it to get the true colours. Personally, I'd lean towards the sandstone coloured paver unless there's an overwhelming of grey in your in the stone in your retaining wall (and because I love my high pressure hose, I'd give these a quick go over to check the colour too - what can I say - if I'm dragging the high pressure hose out to do one thing, do 'em all) - only because it's shady spot at some point during the day so the lighter sandstone will keep it light rather than feeling too shady (particularly in winter). Good luck - I'd love to see the end result.

Something to remember with any decking is whether your metal fixings and brackets are suited to your environment... Depending on the deck support structure and the timber or composite you end up using: its good to remember that not only can natural timber rot, but brackets and fixings, particularly around pools and coastal areas, can deteriorate.
