Comments (13)Hi Megan, I think all the comments have been very constructive and positive. I looked at your photos very carefully and my eye was being confused by the white walls and the beige/caramel carpet. I think your modular lounge is beautiful and your choice of furniture is good. The coffee table could be exchanged perhaps for a more organic shape, and a glass top table opens up a space also. Another choice of coffee table would be using the lounge ottoman with a large tray to hold cups and magazines. Have you considered moving the lounge off the wall if there is the space? I definitely would love to see a large rug and a large artwork for the wall, however there seems to be a lot of light hitting that wall and I wondered about fading (of the lounge, over time and of the artwork) so what are your window coverings? Before you commit to colors etc., find some pieces of fabric (could even be tablecloths, sheets or clothes) in different colors, throw on the lounge (one color at a time) and take a photo - you will soon be able to tell which colors work best for you. Same goes for the floor - simple but effective when rugs and cushions are not often cheap. You will have so much fun deciding and whatever you decide will be just fine because you have to love the home you are in! Good luck with everything Di....See MoreLiving room wall decoration ideas
Comments (8)We think the photo montage might be better placed to the side of the television as artwork can be visually distracting above the tv. The air conditioner also provides another visual element on the wall. Something bold and bright to inject some colour where the frame montage is currently hanging would minimise the visual presence of the air conditioner. Comments (20)Your scheme is very Deco like, the cornice is I'am finding the window treatment too heavy perhaps change to a lighter colour of light beige or white as per photo Colour scheme at the moment is black white and silver it needs a bit of lightening up to add some warmth but I can see Ghost dining chairs really working in your dining room but I think you mentioned keeping the current furniture cheers...See MoreHELP! Comments (25)First ,is removing excess furniture an option? Second, why bar fridge in the dining area, that really ruins the look. Seems that you can not move dining table closer to the kitchen because you have light pendant above the table, so can you move piano where your black couch is and couch on the other side of the room instead of creamy colour sofa . I notice the luck of coffee tables and side tables, that's probably why you like to sit around dining table, it is not visitors friendly and doesn't encourage conversation or interaction. I will come back to it have to study photos more. Are the arm chain the other room similar colour to the couch in the dining area?...See MoreDave Foley
