Comments (1)Hi, Do you have any plans or photos you could possibly add to help us understand your situation?...See MoreKitchen sinks- top mount vs under mount?
Comments (7)Same as Sharon, under mount sink all the way!... had an inset sink in the old house and I too couldn't stand the food getting caught under the edges, so in the new house will definitely have an under mount! :) See previous similar discussion for your info: https://www.houzz.com.au/discussions/3079672/need-help-for-my-kitchen-sink?n=11 If you're still unsure about the under mount, there are now also "flushmount" sinks where the edges are paper thin and sit flush with the bench top, very sleek look... And for the ultimate edge-free and fuss-free luxury, you also have integrated sinks, moulded/shaped into and with the stone: http://www.silestoneoceania.com/quartz-products/integrity-quartz-sinks/...See MoreNeed help to change my dark kitchen cabinets....
Comments (10)Just DO it ! You'll need to undercoat to make the paint cover, so once you have done them in white undercoat, you'll wonder why you hesitated.......they'll look brilliant. You could do them one unit at a time, until it looks right but you'll probably find you want to do them all white. Your suggested colour Antique White USA will look awesome and I too would suggest new door handles - it's surprising what just that change can do for a kitchen. The pendant lights would certainly make an inexpensive change to the whole area - I did it recently when I put in a secondhand kitchen and am super-pleased with the end result considering the awful lime green & mustard monstrosity I started with LOL....See MoreNeed help with changing my kitchen island bench
Comments (14)We would recommend using the same timber as the floor if you can. This would make sense and keep your material palette as simple as possible - there are some fantastic timber finishing treatments available that will provide a durable surface that is easy to maintain. There may be a way that you can introduce a separate timber element say 40-60 thick that sits on top of the existing solid top... perhaps a bit like the kitchen in this image by 'Beef Architects'http://www.contemporist.com/2013/06/21/riverpark-apartment-by-beef-architects/ap_210613_07/...See Moremldesign0401
