That looks all in proportion to me if your diagram is to scale. How high you go is really up to you. I have noticed bed styles are changing a lot lately and there are so many designs on the market now, it doesn't seem like there is an "in" or "out" at all. The only thing I don't like about all the large beds these days is that they are extremely heavy - how does one move them to clean?

gorgeous prints and i love the uneven arrangement that looks like you started with one and then added others over time, do you have something (a single bigger print or mirror) for over the bed as well? the prints look good against the dark rug..have you considered painting the walls in a darker colour?
