BEFORE
AFTER
This house dates from 1920s, with very solid brick construction, high ceilings and period features such as pressed metal ceilings, high skirting boards, plaster ceiling roses, timber panel doors and leadlight windows. Over the years the house had a number of renovations that had detracted from the style of these features though painting over, carpets and 'modernisation'.
The new owners, recognising the quality and character of the house, sought a family home for their children to grow up in and as a long term residence. Architect: Robert Harwood from My Architect
