Ok so we fell in love with a gorgeous 4000m2 block with lovely views however it's come with a long history of erosion issues due to it being on an escarpment, soil type, and storm drainage management non existent. I've been reading about 'Vetiver grass' used widely in other parts of the world however seems to be little recorded about it here in Australia. From the small amount of research I've done it looks like a great solution to a number of problems on our block, but I'm wondering if anyone else has used it to prevent erosion on steep blocks?? Is it too good to be true? Any insights would be appreciated!
