Or if budget allows, why not have both an overhead shower rose from the ceiling and a wall mounted handheld shower head. Hubby prefers overhead shower (and I think most guys do as they don't really care if their hair gets wet) but I don't wash my hair everyday and wanted a wall mounted handheld one, so as we couldn't agree we settled for both with a diverter mixer tap. P.S. the ceiling shower rose we got can be slightly tilted and I think most of them do so you can have it at a bit of an angle. P.P.S. if you can't get both then I would go with a wall mounted handheld shower head as it will be much easier to clean the shower area, can't imagine the practicality of cleaning with an overhead... good luck! :)

Thank-you House of Dawes for your comments. Yes we did get a receipt, it was tempered glass, I have had the installer around, and I was given a lengthy lesson on glass. He had been to 3 other jobs that morn all exploding shower screens. It shouldn't happen, but it did, and does happen. This was a 6mm panel of a semi frameless shower screen. Our ensuite has a 10mm panel of frameless glass.Apparently they are more prone to exploding. Not sure what I can do here except wear the cost ( 2 months out of warranty), and get it fixed. If it is such a rare occurrence according to installer then a 5 year warranty should be given. No moving parts, no motors etc.

Um, why? Looks difficult to clean, difficult to access, and impossible to safely bath kids. I would avoid at all costs. No prospective real estate buyer ever said "I love the combined bath and shower arrangement" as they are generally universally hated, especially if there are toddlers, or elderly in the household . If you do go with this dangerous proposition then make sure you have plenty of well anchored grab rails so you don't knock your teeth out when your head hits the floor. I recently added a plastic strip to the bottom of my shower screen door to prevent water leaking out and it works a treat. Got it from Bunnings, there are different ones for bottom of doors and edge of the door and measure the thickness of the glass first as there are different widths. Just watch which way you put it on as it could encourage water the wrong way, but easy to change. Good luck,
