Help with color of chair and lamps
Comments (17)I agree with both DreamHomeinkz & Rebecca. Go with a more neutral patterned traditional fabric for the chair, add a headboard to your bed with the same fabric, or if not the headboard, purchase taller lamps & shades to give a more overall "height" to the room. See some examples below that can be purchased right on Houzz.com (FYI, the 31" Ode to Bird's Nest: There are only 4 left) [houzz=] [houzz=] [houzz=] [houzz=] [houzz=]...See MoreBedroom refresh?!
Comments (19)Hey! I would recommend when you've got a blank bedroom to decorate that you start by choosing a nice light shade and sheets for the bed. A well-lit room with appealing sheets will make you feel at home and comfy. As for other decor, bedside tables are essential they don't have to be expensive, something practical in a decent colour works wonders for the function of the room, and to bring some aesthetic choose a nice lamp for the bedside table, and make it homey with your favourite books and some tissues etc... A rug and some decorative pillows can also work wonders, perhaps in this space a nice shaggy rug to add some texture and a fluffy pillow to complement that texture would be awesome. The painting you've got is great and it would look super good hung over the bed. Other things to consider having in your room are a laundry basket and some pretty curtains or blinds if there more your thing....See MoreWhat did you see first in this photo?
Comments (3)i saw the glowering pendants and the paintings at about the same time. I always thought my taste was a bit eclectic, but not to the extent of having things staring at me all the time. Dog pedestals, paintings, dog statues, antlers (faux but still animals), and that porthole type thing looks like something out of 1984. Big Brother is watching. Definitely not for me....See MoreWhich bedside tables?
Comments (159)I think that top one from Amart will look lovely with the room and will definitely carry on with your timber throughout, it’s different, has a light wood that will pick up the white of the tables, I would love it myself. Are you able to get a larger photo of it and see how it looks near tables....See MoreUser
