camira1999 8:50 pm Thank u, was thinking a nice outdoor lounge on deck, decorative screen in middle of back boundary fence with 1 metre of vertical garden either side of fern or grasses. And yes some more grasses in the front rock bed. Paint the boundary fence a charcoal grey and some cube chairs inside the fence, your thoughts????
I am also looking at turning pool area into tropical oasis. Am going to use palms, ferns and lush green plantings with bright pops of colour from hibiscus, orchards, even bright impatiens etc. Am painting back fencing black as green really stands out against it. Rocks and boulders also add to the tropical look. Good luck.
Rhapis palms in big pots would look beautiful, xanadu in your pebble bed would add a lush look, painting your fence a dark colour would look great, add some height with palms, cordylines, big strappy tropical plants, some lovely pool furniture , you have a beautiful pool area, love the design.
Nice pool, but a shame that your neighbours can see you through the fence, and therefore, you get no privacy. If you were wanting privacy of some kind, bamboo, tikka plant or even lovely conifers will look quite nice, also as a backdrop to your pool area. I would also place a beautiful urn or two strategically near the pool, to add character and colour. I would finally add an order of large stones for good effect.
