I'm considering undertaking a Diploma of Interior Design. I have so many questions and no one to ask, I thought posting here was a long shot but worth a try.

I'd really love to hear from anyone who has studied interior design.

I'm located in Melbourne but preferably would like to study online. I've been comparing some different institutes and one of my major confusions is that I have found The Interior Design Institute offers a diploma course that is $1,099 compared to CATC and Mercer School of Interior Design which are closer to $20,000. Cost is a major factor as I currently have no income and little savings but the huge jump in costs makes me concerned that the diplomas would not have equal value.

Any advice or experience knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
