So , the structural frame is permanent and the awning is basically the " infill" which can be retracted or extended depending on the weather ?
I live in a top level fire prone area , everything must be " fireproof" ( joke !). This systems means I can build the frame work in steel/ aluminium , for BCA , council approval and not include the shade cloth material ( install later ) .
my alternative are the terribly exspensive , but lovely , Vergola systems .
If this is price competitive it may be a great solution .
Are gutters and down pipes needed? Are there wind and or rain sensors available ? We get strong winds from the valley below us , up to 110km ph , more or less , can your product take that sort of weather ?
