I love your color scheme. How did you decide on that granite? I found this website too . Perhaps those cabinets are not available here but just where you are. either way I can find something similiar. Did you have any issues with ordering..getting parts.. assemely? Do you have any helpful tips for designing ? Did you actually hang them yourself? Is there anything about the cabinets that you find defective or insufficient or think could be better? Hi Aleta1, youre getting down to the nitty gritty of Interior Design now. Choosing the perfect colour involves addressing many issues...size of your windows, orientation of the house, height of ceilings, size of rooms, purpose for room to name a few. If you have the time I recommend getting a sample pot of full and half strength and try it in a couple of corners of each room. That way you can see how the colour looks at different angles. +1, another angle is to not double glaze rooms that are not generally lived in: storage room, bath room, etc. Or not to double glaze rooms that won't affect heating and cooling as much. However would these windows and doors different between double glazing and single glazing annoy you visually? Another consideration to double glaze now is that cost is minute compared with the whole house build cost, and you will have to pay a fair bit more in the future to get the rest removed and double glazed. I have all windows and doors for an old house double glazed with uPVC frame, and am pretty with them. Previously, when I was in an apartment next to a major road, only the bed rooms were doors were replaced with double glazing doors for noise reason.

My husband loves the ceiling only suggestions and also keeping the timber below the dado. I'm not as attached to all the wood and after a total revamp .... I had thought white ceilings and lime washing walls, but realised I'm after a brighter interior. I will have a look at different painted wall panelling. Definitely don't want to go from a wood overload to a white overload! MB you are so right choosing a white is the hardest part! I'll be in touch Milray Park. Thanks for the input and advice everyone!!
