Need help with decorating my living room
Comments (41)Hi there I think that adding in wooden decorations and real/fake plants can help bring a bit of life in to your space. And the tones of plants and wooden/nature looking items work really well with neutral colours. They can be both cheap and expensive depending on your taste so finding a bargain or something to suit your needs should be quite easy. If you want a more elegant look marble decorations even if small can be a great way to add a look of class. Candles are also a great way to add in some nice smells to invite people into your home. Keep in mind that sometimes less is more. Don't overdo it and have some fun! It's nice to shop for your home....See MoreIdeas needed for lights in living and dining room
Comments (20)Your scheme is very Deco like, the cornice is I'am finding the window treatment too heavy perhaps change to a lighter colour of light beige or white as per photo Colour scheme at the moment is black white and silver it needs a bit of lightening up to add some warmth but I can see Ghost dining chairs really working in your dining room but I think you mentioned keeping the current furniture cheers...See MoreNeed help with my living room
Comments (24)Been away just saw this I agree with others remove round coffee table replace with a not too large rectangular glass. Wall hang tv, (my choice above fireplace) remove tv console (u could use a low shelf of book case for DVD etc. ) replace with chest. Another option if it fits: Relocate left bookcase to where black recliner is & put recliner in that corner with floor lamp maybe behind it. The square box coffee tbl also looks out of place. Also Could one of door openings be filled in if there is an alternative access out of the room to the right of fire place. Love the fire place & floors....See MoreNeed help for my living room
Comments (3)Hi, I completely agree with the comments regarding banishing sharp edges but I think a coffee table is unnecessary. Where a coffee table would go is the best place for your daughter to sit & play. If you have hard floors add a rug. Importantly secure your tv - wall mount or strap to entertainment unit....See MoreJoycie Mechell
