Kitchen Tapware

I have a double sink going in the bench top against a wall (this is also where the cooktop will be located) and a smaller single sink at one end of the island bench.

I would like the double sink to have a goose neck tap with pull out hose.

my question is:- should the single sink on the island have the same tap or should they be different?

sorry, no pictures as everything is under construction.

It would probably look better if they were a similar style. I think Methven have both taps in the same style, one has a hose the other doesn't. They also have a 15 year warranty. The cheapy taps don't last very long either.

I love black tapware and I think it will be around for a few years. It seems that black, copper and all things coloured are making big waves. We have just finished building, went with black tapware throughout and black kitchen sink. Only the kitchen tap is both chrome & black as this was the only tap we could get with the hose. We love it.

If you are talking about an existing glass splashback then it's not possible. As all glass/ mirror splashbacks are toughened, it will shatter. It can be easily done on new ones. As the hole will be cut prior to being toughened.
