Is it much too red?
Comments (212)Sorry, maybe taken back by reading all the comments, but I see that the coffee table is wooden, with the dark flooring and the lounges being a dark red, definitely you need to put a rug under the coffee table to lighten it up with a pattern including some beige or maybe a bit of mustard with red or brighter blue like on the chair around the dining table. It appears there's a mixture of older style lounge and coffee table compared to the white plant stands, something to think about as in the look you are going for....See MoreIs a TV in the bathroom too much?
Comments (59)I had to settle for a shower for years and years because the place we lived in only had a shower although my showers are deefinitely not a three minute person, more like 15min ha-ha I too decided on a spa bath in our new build, one that is big enough to fit two people but is simply a bath shape and I'm finding it hard to get myself back into baths because of being used to a shower for so long but I don't regret it either. I used to read the paper in the bath back when papers were what was around back then and I do miss that ha-ha...See MoreToo much grey?
Comments (11)I would add some bright scandinavian style furniture... Scandinavian style often features grey, grey sofas, walls, or floors. But paired with vibrant sot furnishings it looks fresh and inviting. Hit up ikea for ideas. it will add colour and vibrancy without being too stark and they have some nice styled kids stuff and storage that will be practical but look good. Yellow looks nice with grey... add some oversized floor cushions and pouffs for the kids to relax on. Add some vibrant art and posters and it won't look too austere....See MorePantry shelves are too deep and I lose things! Any ideas?

I also feel it could be time for a big clean out. Empty everything from all shelves, I know its very time consuming but the only way to do it. Allow a whole day. Go through everything individually, put like items together. Keep baking items together, sauces, gravies etc. together, cereals together, snacks together. Work out if you need to buy some baskets or plastic containers for loose items that should go together. Once you start you will be on a roll. When finished you will wonder why you didn't do this before. Dont forget the timber steps, I think you can buy plastic ones also. I have also seen expanding racks that do the same. But I have found them to be a bit over priced. Don't forget to treat yourself after the good job you have done. Good luck...See MoreUser
