Ah but cloudpants what are you making it real in comparison with? Who's to say that not painting them wouldn't look far better? Before you say anything....I made no comment either way...and yes it does look really good!

What sort of floors do you have? What shape is your kitchen and where is the fridge? I think an all black kitchen is most suited to a large space with a lot of natural light. If you have that it will be fine. :) In a small space without natural light, it may look dark and the black gloss may be a little overwhelming. If you have a kitchen with a defined back wall, another wall to the left/right and an island, you might want to put the gloss fridge and cupboards all down the side wall and on the island, and use a contrasting colour for the other cupboards. Perhaps a timber or grey timber look laminate and off white to warm up the space and bring in a bit of light. Depending on what you do and do not like as well as what is going to be reflected, a mirror splash may bring in a little more light as well. Goodluck with it all.

Just DO it ! You'll need to undercoat to make the paint cover, so once you have done them in white undercoat, you'll wonder why you hesitated.......they'll look brilliant. You could do them one unit at a time, until it looks right but you'll probably find you want to do them all white. Your suggested colour Antique White USA will look awesome and I too would suggest new door handles - it's surprising what just that change can do for a kitchen. The pendant lights would certainly make an inexpensive change to the whole area - I did it recently when I put in a secondhand kitchen and am super-pleased with the end result considering the awful lime green & mustard monstrosity I started with LOL.

Hi @sophie0lm Congrats on the developments in this plan. It's working much more successfully for the orientation of your site. It's great to see you've taken on feedback and pushed the design to improve it. A few observations: 1. I agree with comments about the study nook. I would make that a storage cupboard for umbrellas, shoes etc for leaving and departing at the front door. 2. The view both into the master bedroom and guest toilet from living areas is not ideal. I would suggest turning the toilet room 90 degrees clockwise (so it's long wall runs along the back of the stairs). You should be able then to have a more private entry to the toilet and master bedroom - and I would even suggest having the internal entry from the garage at that point as well, so that cleans up your entry hall. 3. I would consider pushing to improve the whole WIP / Laundry / Linen arrangement. The WIP is quite detached from the kitchen. There may be something in mirroring the whole kitchen - so the entry to the WIP is then where the fridge is, and it sits behind the kitchen, rather than off to the side. The linen will then sit where the WIP, and having a solid wall to the deck so you can not see into these service areas from your deck and living space. 4. I would also suggest putting a wall up along the back of the stairs upstairs so the rumpus can double as a fourth bedroom.
