Help! Which colours go with these bathroom tiles?
Comments (78)That is a hard one with those tiles. I would have to think if you did a white, it would kind of work with the colour of your tiles. At the end of the day, they do need to be replaces, but as you said, due to budgeting reasons, you cannot, I can pass on this photo of a nice bathroom with those tiles for you though for inspiration... : )...See MorePaint colour to go with terracotta tiles
Comments (18)I totally agree with you. GO NEUTRAL. Add colour thru access. I used Hog Bristle. Honestly, book a Colour Consultant thru Dulux or who ever, who will come out and give u the best advise. Dulux Consultant charge about $150, but this is refunded off the paint you purchase. So ur getting expert advise for nothing, if u purchase the paint. Money well spent. I did this and was so glad I did. She will explain where to use what paint, being 1/4, 1/2 or full strength of the chosen colour. I was going to upload photos for you of my rooms, but for some reason this page won't let me. If you would like me to send you photos thru email, I would gladly do so. ir u send ur email address. Good luck....See Morekitchen colour with current slate floors
Comments (8)If your painting the cupboards, I would paint them in Dulux Whisper white. The bench tops I would get granite transformations in and choose the lightest grey from your slate. Backsplash I would also keep light, maybe a light grey or soft khaki subway tile. There is no need to add something to bring the dark colour from the floor, plenty of white kitchens with dark floors. I have used granite transformations before, they basically come in and built a nice crisp stone bench top, squaring of the edges etc...too easy. With regards to cupboards, I would stay away from creamy whites . If your painting the cupboards, that involves a lot of prep work and undercoating. Buy sample pots, paint on large pieces of cardboard, then when your happy with the colour just get the undercoat tinted in the colour you like...then if you still think it needs changing it’s easy. Also I would paint in satin, not gloss....See Moreslate floor in kitchen, stay or go
Comments (8)I would definitely keep the slate. Put the money you would spend into the kitchen. Slate is a natural stone. Natural stone is nicer than cheap ceramic tiles that will date in a few years. It never needs replacing like vinyl or timber which end up getting worn areas. To refresh slate you just need to recoat it and it comes up like new. Im for keeping the slate....See More- 9 years ago
