What colour walls for a peachy pumpkin lounge suite small dark room
Comments (13)I think the golds in your frames and other wall hanging would go very nicely with the red JudyG posted. You might start with just a couple of walls as it's going to be quite dark. I painted part of my bedroom a similar color--it was the color of canned chili, and my husband thought it was too dark so I changed it. I think your furniture would look wonderful with that. And with paint color, I told my husband that I'm not done with the bedroom until I say 'I LOVE IT!' You should do the same--you want to love looking at your living room....See MoreWhat colour paver to suit natural river gravel.
Comments (11)annb1997 - Yes, that is part of the reason I'm doing this project. The entire area will be lowered, re-graded and some drains installed (the garden edge is kind of temporarily in place for now, got a great deal on the plants so they had to go in). It's a bigger job than anticipated as it also means the air conditioners (x3) need to be de-commossioned and re-installed at the new levels. John, I like the idea with regard to the tank, but we get allot of bitey critters and I don't really want to give them anymore areas to hide out in....See MoreWhich sofa colour suits my carpet.
Comments (11)Hello, I would recommend these sofas from our current collection. They would all be good neutrals that don’t fight the darker carpet, and can be styled up by cushions. Also, we can scotchguard for you to make sure they don’t stain! We also have a 10% discount for our Houzz customers at the moment- use the code CQ4W1D4140....See Morestair stain vs floorboard colour
Comments (9)Maybe its just me , but this is made worse by having the buttery yellow walls -- in fact , the darker brown , the yellow and the white just screams 1970's and/or bumblebees . The ptroblem is that the brown is still too dark even if you went all white , but it would be an improvement IMO , and relatively inexpensive . I'm trying to think of something better , and to me , a wallpaper that is mostly white with a gold scroll or something modern like gold stripes would look good -- just keep away from anything that looks 70's unless the retro look is what you are wanting . Oh , and maybe add an artwork halfway up the stairs on the 'right' side -- art always looks good if appropriately chosen , plus it will distract the eyes ....See Morejbantick
