Yes we are replacing treated pine with a hardwood this time but I just want to make the right choice. Still it's nice to hear you are happy with it . Anything will be a big improvement I do like the idea of an Australian hardwood that is from sustainable sources though . I gather it's been down a few yrs and you haven't experienced the shrinkage someone else complained of ? Thanks for the feedback . This site is great :)

Looks like a lovely deck. Feels like there is a lot to accomodate.. Could the BBQ be folded up when not in use? Couch over near the slates on the right is my only other thought.

It doesn't look that bad. I'd go with rugs inside and out to draw your attention away. If you go with a stain, you can get grey stains. Bunnings have a Hunter Grey.

We have just taken down the trellis on the corner of our new deck. I need to replace it with either some screening or something decorative plants perhaps or even just continue with the decking on this corner. I was wanting some ideas for what could look nice here.
