Comments (6)i've just seen exposed aggregate done in a mix of pale, grey and white with occasional small yellow...so sorry we didn't see that before we chose the traditional brown, yellow black that dows looks great with our shale and woodland grey paints but i think the pale colours would have been better in our long dark winters..good luck with yours...See MorePorous Exposed aggregate Concrete
Comments (3)You are right it is not a normal driveway. There are some options with concrete pavers that have porosity in the spaces between the pavers. I would confirm with council if this is what they mean. It is remarkably common for councils to make permit conditions that don't relate to reality, buildability and current building technologies and practices. Comments (0)Soon I'll be ready to complete my front landscaping and thinking of having steps, possibly just 2, continuing from my front porch to footpath. My concrete driveway is standard and was thinking of going for the exposed aggregate look for my steps. Not sure if the two types of concrete will clash. Just want to give my front garden an extra nice look without spending to much. Yes, I know exposed aggregate can be costly! Comments (1)Exposed aggregate is slip resistance. Honed aggregate is smooth and slippery. First is great for driveways and paths, second is great for alfresco areas. Normal concrete can be smooth or made a rough surface when finishing. If there is no budget then I would choose exposed aggregate, but it is expensive compared to normal poured concrete. https://www.decorativeconcretewa.com.au/which-concrete-surface/...See Moremorihana
