I agree. A real estate agent told me that no bathtub can devalue a house and make it difficult to sell. Unless of course your area is more for singles/couples. I am about to renovate my bathroom and I am keeping the bath and making the shower bigger. I need to sacrifice the size of the cabinet/hand basin but with so many unique storage ideas out there, I will still have sufficient room for a family's bathroom needs.

Hi guys We love both! A common misconception we've found with freestanding baths and spas is that they're simply be too heavy to move around for cleaning purposes. To make cleaning manageable, our 100% Australian made baths and spas are manufactured using Gelcoat composite construction which is extremely strong yet not overly heavy (5mm thickness to ensure structural rigidity and increased thermal properties). So one of our baths is typically around the 40-50kg mark which allows most people to easily slide the bath out from the wall for easy cleaning access. @mlk01, You are right about the message button, I have it on my profile but no one else seems to so that's odd! If you click on my profile for example, you will see on the top line right beside the profile picture: Your house, Ideasbook, Bookmarks, Activities, Messages. In fact I remember that when anyone typed a reply like I'm doing now, you used to be able to click a "private" button, which meant only the person you were typing to saw your comment. Perhaps Houzz can answer these anomalies?? I'm not on Facebook or Twitter, never got into it and have no reason to do so anytime soon ha-ha As for talking privately to someone, you could post your email address here as could oklouise and delete it whilst you are still able to edit, as I've done once in the past. Just not sure how long the edit feature lasts.

Are you kidding us all? That looks fantastic!!! That bath and spout are spectacular and both look absolutely amazing. The spout looks excellent where it is, you do not want to hide it, show it off and no it does not obstruct the look of that divine bath. Well done italiangal
