Hamptons kitchen reno — before and after!

Rustic Coast

This kitchen was originally 2 rooms (dining room next door) so we removed the wall to make a large eat in kitchen. We wanted a light industrial feel hence the metal panels in the cupboards and the rustic, weathered shelves. But we also wanted something warm and beachy so we kept it white and light and used large travertine tiles for the the floor. The kitchen island bench was the prototype for the island bench that Rustic Coast now custom makes for their clients. The gal top has turned out to be a stylish but durable finish which is important when you have teenagers!

We kept the original location of the sink and cooker

This is the wall we knocked out to make an eat in kitchen

From chaos to calm!
