Can you butt a vanity unit right up against a wall?

We are looking at this 1200mm wide vanity unit:

It has a door and a drawer - and a right offset bowl. The position of the vanity needs to be adjoining a wall - ie no clearance on the left hand side - joined right on to wall. Can anyone tell me if this will work? Or will this interfere with the functioning of the drawer (or door - not sure which this unit has on the left).
And would you go with wall mounted tap or have tap on the basin top?
We will just have a plain mirror above.
Thanks!
