Comments (4)Just love that rabbit perhaps his hutch would be good to the left on the top terrace The sandstone rock and stairs to the left of your house could be worked on to look really special again, a Zen like The fern that was moved off the rocks is likened to a weed and best removed, I quite like the rock as a feature. As for any pavers any of the square or rectangle concrete ones would look great and are cheaper than most, please don't paint them you can get them from Bunnings. We also play Bocci on our grass that over looks water. great fun....See MoreNeed ideas for Under Stairs Storage space
Comments (10)first consider any good use of the space from inside the bathroom (you could then fill in the opening from this side for more walls space and/or shallow bookshelves etc and access storage from the bathroom otherwise add some adjustable shelves and a hinged door between the post and the wall and fill in the rest of the space and/or cut panels of painted craftwood that can be screwed over the opening and removed for access ... quicker and cheaper would be a curtain gathered top and bottom to conceal the opening and hide all your stuff...See MoreEmpty ugly space in laundry
Comments (8)Hi oklouise We are partially renovating the laundry. New double sink, moving the front loader and replacing taps and connections into cupboards rather than on the wall. House is 80’s build and we still have the ‘lovely yellow plastic taps!’ All appliances and sink and new cupboard will be along one wall. The cupboard will be a tall one 208 cm and will be 60cm wide and 37 cm deep. Area left after removal of HWS is 70 cm square, so about 10cm will be visible at the one side and front. We will put the cupboard as close to one wall as possible. Floor tiles are grey and walls, door etc are Dulux Natural White....See MoreLooking for ideas - 40cm wide space next to stairs
Comments (13)I agree with Macyjean about the builder not wanting to do it, rather than it can't be done. However "save it until later" solutions often never get done and you do need a balustrade or something to make the stair compliant. I would look at removing the existing wall and rebuilding it abutting the stair. Put the extra space into the powder room which will feel much more spacious. Space is the ultimate luxury.
