Some good comments above. My simple suggestion goes like this. Starting at each end, I see they are adjustable, double up the shelves making them stronger, and then you will only have two shelves in each bay. Even them out so yu end up with three equal cubbies. They will look quite cubed, and house foldable fabric baskets which are cheaply available in many colours, try Kmart for packs of 5 for less than 10.00. I would use these end cubes for your practical needs, like onesies, singlets, nappies and creams etc. The central shelves I would display the children's favourite things, on lower shelves, books to access, and some things you want seen as keepsakes, not to play with a they won't reach them easily. The shelves could be configured differently in each space depending on use, but I'd utilize the lower two cubes in one room as desk space, with books above. A cute colourful lamp, and again foldable baskets each side, so that perhaps each child may choose their own side, and have somewhere that's just theirs. In a house ful, it's even more important to have somewhere just for your stuff. These will be great when you make them a little less busy, and providing those inserts will keep them looking tidy, even when they're not. maybe you Could have different colours for each child, to help with the order of things. Hi everyone, I have narrowed my choices down to 3 scenarios and have done a very rough sketch of each scenario. I was wondering if someone is able to provide me with a 3D visual of the 3 ideas to see if they will work as I do not know how to do this? Scenario 1 - Single pantry on either side of fridge, with a gap on the left side for clearance from the entry and on the right side a narrow wine/book storage cabinet with open shelves at the top and closed door at bottom (see picture attached). Scenario 2 - double pantry on left side with gap on left for entry clearance and fridge on right side with narrow wine /book shelf to the right of the fridge. Scenario 3 - single pantry on left side of long wall with gap on left of fridge and on right side of fridge a corner counter top with open corner shelving and a gap on the end of the right side (short wall) for entry door clearance. Love that door. I’d use floating full length. Or just full length with brackets. If you google Katrina Chambers, she has full length in her study for inspiration.

Are the white bits blinds ? Do they open to the outside world ? Venetians , wooden venetians , curtains , anything would give those a lift ! Probably each one around 60cm wider than the window , with a natural timber valance ( mounted inside the window frame , as opposed to being part of it ) . Lauren Shiels sugggests dark Navy walls , I'd go more a plum burgundy for the walls , although that would depend on your taste , and the other rooms . Striped cushions in the same plum and gold -- warm colours . A tall leafy plant if you keep the couch where it is , or maybe even if you move it or change it .
