Thank you both. There isn't a lot of depth at all. That's why I was was just really wanting storage and a desk so that there is not miss matched furniture.

@dreamer : That's exactly what it is, kitchenette - handy for drinks of water, making tea/coffee. We had a undermount sink there instead of vanity bowl, but the cabinet and stone was already cut which restricted use of undermount sink. We are happy with current setting of vanity bowl and pullout mixer. FYI....there are already two bathrooms upstairs ( 2separate basin inside them) so no need to run downstairs :) . @kate Sure, please allow me a day to visit site and do the actual measurements. Will share it here soon. . Actually, my partner and both work from home most of time and we have one dedicated study/office room which one of us will use. But we are looking to see another place where we can setup a office table/chair or some sort of study nook. House is built as per the plans (ground floor is here). Could you suggest another place where we can setup a office table/chair or some sort of study nook as we were thinking to put somewhere in rumpus area as I mentioned in the first post of this thread.
