Hi, it is western red cedar, band sawn finish, with Resene woodoil + cool colours, Colour is "pitch black". Yes we would definitely do work in Australia, we are doing work all over, from Fiji to the UK.
Thanks for your reply. You mentioned the colour is 'pitch black' - the photos depict a lighter black/grey/brownish colour. Is this due to sun exposure? Does it need to be re-stained regularly? Thank you again.
Hi, no this is because it is a stain so you can see the color of the timber coming through, the cool colours treatment mitigated the effects of the sun exposure. If you look at the stain manufacturers website they can tell you more about the cool colours as well as how often it should need re-staining. It is www.resene.co.nz. Hope this helps.
