Refer to your fridge specs before you close anything in. Fair Trading laws in this country have obsoleted warranties. There is now a sliding scale of reasonable expectation on consumer items which means manufacturers will rely on their tech specs more than ever. Check what minimum clearance your fridge officially needs on the sides and above the machine for ventilation before doing anything. Get your lighting working for you. Choose a 'warm white' lamp - not daylight or cool white. Cool whites kill off the warmer hues and makes things appear cold. Change, add or move your lighting to have two small gimbled ceiling lights wash down the face of the joinery instead of one bright light focussed on the fridge. Lighting can make a poor space look great or a great space look poor.

if you plan to demolish in 12 months i assume that a cheap cheerful fix is wanted so i would keep the kitchen wall cabinets and the base cabinets around the corner and the sink and relocate the long section of cabinets against the bedroom wall for a place to use a MW, electric frypan and toaster with some open wall shelving for crockery, glasses and serving dishes and for a little extra effort you could create a new bedroom door off the hallway and use the original bedroom door space to relocate the extra fridge and keep some of the kitchen traffic away from the sink and stove and then add an extra counter to extend the length of the short section of cabinets next to the stairs (keeping the original counter around the sink) ... the new counter can be placed on top of the original counter and/or supported by brackets attached to the side of the cabinets and the post and open underneath for a couple of stools or waste bins? ...the major hardware stores sell approx 2m lengths of solid wood counters that look like and can be oiled and used as chunky chopping boards and the timber counters would tone nicely with the architraves around your windows ... with care you should be able to recycle the cabinets and if necessary any obvious rough bits painted to be hidden

You could try Wet & Forget on the driveway. You can buy it ready to use and attach it to a hose or buy a bottle that you dilute to use in a sprayer. I have used it and it works - slower than water blasting but it won’t damage driveway if it has some damage? I can’t quite tell from photo if that’s grass clippings/mulch or broken concrete on driveway? If you use it be careful not to spray garden bed. I live in FNQ and we planted seaside daisy - doesn’t need watering but it also won’t die from our wet season. It’s a ground over and spreads out beautifully in a courtyard area that’s get a lot of sun. Just needs a trim from time to time. I see you have Rio (purple green ground cover) which you could separate and plant down the path but it does like water. Maybe for the fence you could try attaching lattice to it and plant another passion fruit vine to help cover the whole fence. It does look like you need to get rid of some woody parts of the passion fruit. It’s a tough plant and will enjoy a bit of pruning. We had one that I thought had died last year and it has returned with no help from me. Be careful with the heliconias and gingers ... they can get out of control if you don’t stay on top of them. Anything tall will cover your fence but it will also cover the passionfruit vine which obviously loves the spot it’s in. Good luck!

So with the dining area, being approx 5500 x 3600, I would suggest a rectangle table. A 2100mm length table x 1100 width. This would comfortably seat 8 people. You could also purchase the same size table with an inbuilt extension, that could extend longer to seat your 10 people, when required. The aesthetic of table is personal choice.
