Honestly hate all four as is. Too busy and in most you can't view the pics while seated. But if you paint the hall wall light blue (like upper right pic) and use medium/dark brown simple frames, then that would contrast with the pics and make it appear much less busy.

If you have a small powder room, then you don't need art work. Don't just hang art on the wall as you have a blank wall - negative space in a small room is a positive. I would consider a decorative mirror with bevelled edges to provide some visual interest, to make the space seem bigger, and which has a function. Consider wall lights to complemement the mirror, and don't go with the plain jane mirror option that most builders offer as standard. Best of luck, Dr Retro of Dr Retro House Calls

Persoanlly I think they are all a little bland for the room - too "display house", especially with all those wall washing lights. Something with a bit more personal connection or less abstract would create more of an interesting feature. At the moment, the lights do all the talking, if you know what i mean.

Don't like any of them. Way too cluttered. How can you see what's what? Art should be more than wallpaper.

Probably the light blue room - but not sure what the purpose of all these displays is. Only the blue room looks a bit like treasured pieces assembled over time - the rest all look a bit decorator-y to me.

I don't like any of them either...too much, after looking at all the hourzz stories and pics, I have decided to take my similar arrangements down, the room they were in looks amazing without them all there confusing the brain

Honestly I don't like any of them either. All too busy and if one picture was out of alignment - Argghh! Dark blue one, whilst not as busy looks too contrived, like it's not in a real persons house.

None of them – too busy, too contrived and really the 'art' feels dismissed and unimportant (and I suspect that that is probably the case – if it were important to you because of beauty or sentiment or genuine interest it wouldn't be relegated to an over-busy wall just to complete some grid or slightly random pattern). I have a lot of paintings, drawings, etchings and photographs around my house but each one is there because it has meaning and adds to my life and aesthetic pleasure. When they have to share a wall I spend time ensuring that each is still able to be seen, appreciated and respected in its own right.
